Maven Genapp template for Amsterdam

Usage of the Amsterdam genapp template

This directory contains a maven:genapp template with wich generates an Amsterdam channel project stub. The generated project contains a barebone project.xml and a stub for an amsterdam channel jboss-service.xml, which is placed in src/channel/META-INF.

The generated project is dependant on that the maven-amsterdam-plugin is installed. Begin by coping that plugin jar file to your $MAVEN_HOME/plugins directory (or if you have amsterdam checked out, make a 

	  maven plugin: install
in the amsterdam/maven-plugins/amsterdam directory).

To create a project, first create the project directory and cd into it, eg:

	  mkdir mychannel
	  cd mychannel

Then run genapp by pointing it to the template directory of you local amsterdam installation or src:

	  maven -Dmaven.genapp.template.dir=../cvs/amsterdam/maven-plugins/genapp/amsterdam/ genapp

Next, check project.xml and remove the amsterdam-plugins dependancy if you don't need it, otherwise create a build.properties with a correct maven.jar.amsterdam-plugins property for your local setup. Try build the channel:

	  maven (or)
	  maven amsterdam:channel

Start defining your amsterdam channel in jboss-service.xml
